Irregular Seasoning is loosely inspired by the life of the French Marchioness de Brinvilliers (1630-1676). The Marchioness is a depressed woman of the French aristocracy who leads a dull life in her castle, dominated by her husband, an "important" man, her small daughter and the servants. Attempting to end her days with rat poison, she resolves to test it on one of her maids. Rather sucessfully. She discovers a passion for poisoning, and she considers it an art. One by one, she kills her husband, her daughter and the greater part of the well-bred people that come around for a visit. She finds her life’s purpose, yet her life ends with her being burned at the stake. In her finest garments, she happily meets her end having finally done something with her life. But even the Marquise knows, all good things must come to an end.

This is a story about the solitude of the new immigrants and their endless struggle to survive, to be accepted and to be a part of Israeli society. Andrei, the protagonist, a new immigrant from the former Soviet Union, discovers that in order to save his sick father’s life he must buy an expensive drug that is well beyond his means. At the same time, Andrei and his two best friends, Zura and Marat, also living alone in the country, try to achieve their dream to be heard and understood via their poesy music. Andrei decides to get the money for the medicine his father so desperately needs at all costs.

The Danio rerio (zebrafish) is in India. It is usually used in keeping tropical fish and in laboratory, it serves as model body there. The Yorktown Technologie company manipulated genetically Danio rerio sold under the name of GloFish. This not natural animal is very alive, it is a commercial success... Experimental Movie, the images of which were got back here and there. There is no recording realized specifically for this project. Le poisson-zèbre (Danio rerio) se trouve en Inde. Il est couramment utilisé en aquariophilie et en laboratoire, il y sert d'organisme modèle. La société Yorktown Technologie a manipulé génétiquement un Danio rerio vendu sous le nom de GloFish. Cet animal non naturel est bien vivant, c'est un succès commercial...
