My name is Roman Shumunov. I was born in Georgia (USSR). I immigrated to Russia with my family in 1993. In 2001 I imigrated to Israel on my own at the age of 17. I studied on the "selah" program for immigrants who came to Israel before their parents. I took an introductory study year at Tel Aviv university. I joined the army in 2004, and started my studies at the Sapir College in 2008. The field I took is the one that I feel connected to – movies and television. I tried to direct as many movies in all fields, including photography, editing and directing. My final movie, I directed is called - "No one but us" Movie I present the problems and difficulties encountered by young immigrants and their attempts to integrate into Israeli society. I show the difficulties mainly in their loneliness they have a problem and have no relatives or even other people who can help.
