International
Flickerfest is Australia`s premiere international competitive short film festival. In summer we screen outdoors under the stars at Bondi, Australia`s most famous beach; following the festival a selection of the films tour to 50+ venues around Australia.
Movies that Matter Festival
The Movies that Matter Festival is a film festival on human rights and justice in The Hague, the International City of Peace and Justice. Annually, the festival presents 70 documentaries and fictions by inspired film makers as well as various side-programmes, talkshows, debates, exhibitions. The festivals presents six awards with a total amount of money price of € 16,000.
The Movies that Matter Festival has two main sections. A Matter of ACT , a film, network and competition programme is Amnesty International's main programme: it consists of ten recent, captivating documentaries about the life and work of human rights defenders and their brave fight against injustice and oppression. Camera Justitia, the other main programme of the festival, sheds light on the many angles of the human rights and justice theme, using films and debates on transitional justice, careful administration of national and international justice, the rule of law and the fight against impunity.

Movies that Matter Foundation
is an initiative of Amnesty International Netherlands. The foundation opens people’s eyes for human rights and social justice. It uses film to promote the human rights dialogue, influence the public opinion and encourage people to stand up for human rights.
Besides the festival Movies that Matter organises various other human rights film events and activities including:
- educational programmes at schools and film theatres
- International support and promotion of human rights film screenings
- a human rights film programme within the annual International Documentary Festival Amsterdam / IDFA
- Movies that Matter Tour: monthly human rights films programme in +/-15 Dutch theatres.

Since its inception in 2004, the Ellensburg Film Festival has grown into a major film and arts event in the northwest. The Kansas City FilmFest is celebrating its 18th year and unites educational, cultural and film organizations in a celebration of independent filmmaking. Each year the festival builds on its tradition of bringing inspiring, thought-provoking, and entertaining films to Kansas City audiences and offers opportunities for artists and filmmakers to network, and develop their craft and art. KCFF encourages filmmakers to attend the festival so they can have the opportunity to interact and engage with our great Kansas City audiences!
The Kansas City FilmFest will be celebrating its 18th year with a special animation emphasis, Animation Inside Out and new category, Web Series-Heartland.
IN THE PALACE is an International festival dedicated to short films under 45 minutes in length. It is held annualy
in the late June in the Black Sea town of Balchik. Established in 2003,
the festival had grown from a competitive forum for student films into
the largest and most prestigious short film festival in Bulgaria and the
region.
Besides the annual film competition programmes, In The Palace is
accompanied by several parallel events, special screenings, build-in
workshops, trainings and master classes, and includes a film industry
market section.

2) Only one entry per director is allowed.
3) English subtitles have to be provided, if there is some non-english dialogue in your film.
