In addition, the HOLLYWOOD FILM FESTIVAL, through the “Hollywood Gives Back® Project” will showcase the other side of Hollywood, celebrating the Industry’s creative artists who have supported causes around the world. The winners of the HOLLYWOOD FILM FESTIVAL – Features, Documentaries, Shorts – will be recognized on stage at the prestigious HOLLYWOOD FILM AWARDS GALA ceremony, and will receive 4 complimentary VIP GALA tickets. The Hollywood Film Awards Gala launches the awards season.
We are very proud that our finalists and winners have secured agents and distribution deals (HBO, Miramax, IFC, Indican, 7th Art Releasing, and Starz Entertainment among other distributors) due to their exposure during ourHollywood Film Festival.
Our latest success story is our HFF winner, CRAIG BREWER, for the sale of his movie “Hustle and Flow” to Paramount Studios for $9 million. Craig Brewer was discovered at the 2000 Hollywood Film Festival when we showcased the world premiere of his first film “Poor and Hungry.”
Another HFF winner, director Robert DeFranco, sold his film “Telling You” to Miramax. Our winner Zoe Clarke-Williams got a directing job for an MGM film after we honored her. In addition, our winning documentarian Janine Hoskins sold her documentary “My Khmer Heart” to HBO.

Colchester Film Festival is an international short film festival taking place at the Firstsite Gallery in Colchester from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th of October 2013
We will be showcasing some of the best short films from the UK and around the world as well as offering a programme of workshops, master classes and panel discussions from industry professionals for anyone wanting to learn more about filmmaking and the film industry.
Submissions for this years festival are FREE and now open along with registration for the 48 hour film challenge.
The 2012 Festival showcased 41 of the best short films from 13 different countries, from first time filmmakers to Oscar nominated short films. Alongside the films there were film related workshops, master classes and panel discussion from Luke Snellin (BAFTA Nominated Director of ‘Mixtape’), Julian Unthank (writer of the Oscar Nominated ‘Love at First Sight’), Steven Hall (Credits include: ‘War Horse’, ‘Gladiator’ and ‘Batman Begins), John Wrathall (writer of Good), Matthew McGuchan (Writer of Truth or Dare), Peter Findley (Production Designer: Nine), Toby Roberts, Will Wright and Emma Curtis.

Artisan Festival International World Peace Initiative is comprised of mini-festivals representative of the Arts (Fine Art, Film, Fashion, Music, Theater) brought together under one umbrella in an effort to promote cultural diversity through the arts. Our goal is to bring such rich culture to each community we work with and encourage as much community support as possible to facilitate an understanding that we are a cultural arts organization seeking to add to the communities we serve while simultaneously assisting with peace efforts on a global scale.
"The mission of Artisan Festival International World Peace Initiative is to bridge the gap in cultural diversity worldwide. By promoting culture other than ones own through film, art, fashion, theatre and music, one can begin to have an understanding and appreciation of others. This is the way to begin creating world peace," stated Princess Angelique Monét, Festival Founder and Director.
Our events will promote visual/video art, film, fashion, theatre and music. Within A.F.I. we have created five Signature mini Festivals each with it's own audience, but we hope to encourage cross-demographic involvement between each area.

This year we are proud to introduce our Screenwriting Contest which allows the writer to have a unique opportunity to see their screenplay performed by actors in front of an audience while also receiving an award. This program will provide exposure and the necessary tools for you to understand the market place and enjoy what Cannes has to offer. This program is hosted by our veteren staff, with years of experience working the festival environment of Cannes and the marketplace. We are able and excited to include you in one of the most glamourous deal making festivals on the globe. For this reason, all filmmakers accepted into this program must pay a fee (separate from submission fee) to be involved in the Cannes agenda. This does not include your housing, airfare, or meals, only our program and it's incentives. Other individuals which may apply for this program (in addition to filmmakers applying through Without A Box) are: models, musicians, producers, directors with scripts to secure funding and fine artists. Festival de Cannes provides many opportunities for everyone to be involved, and make their dreams come true.

BLACK INTERNATIONAL CINEMA
is a yearly interdisciplinary, intercultural film/video festival produced and directed by Fountainhead® Tanz Theatre / THE COLLEGIUM - Forum & Television Program Berlin in association with Cultural Zephyr e.V. and screens cinema from the African Diaspora and other films from varied intercultural backgrounds or perspectives.
Black International Cinema Berlin originated from the Black Cultural Festival, which was produced and directed by Fountainhead® Tanz Theatre in 1986 for the first time in Europe, a 3-week event in Berlin, which presented the contributions of Black people to world culture through film, theater, dance, music, workshops and seminars, and was an homage to the legendary tap dancer, Carnell Lyons.
The venues were the Theatermanufaktur am Halleschen Ufer from March 3-16, music – dance – theatre; Hochschule der Künste Berlin on March 11, symposium; Kino Arsenal from March 17-23, film.

Since then, Fountainhead® Tanz Theatre produces and directs the Black International Cinema each year in Berlin and additionally, in other European and US-American cities.
The festival focuses on presenting works of an artistic, cultural or political nature coinciding with the general educational, social, artistic and economic interest of people from Africa, the African Diaspora and people with an interest in participating in intercultural communication and the resultant interfacing and sharing of educational, social, artistic and economic resources.
Furthermore, Black International Cinema is open to ALL filmmakers and contributes to better understanding and increasing cooperation between people from various cultural, ethnic, national and religious backgrounds, in order to reduce prejudice and support a peaceful and respectful living together in our multi-faceted societies.
Black International Cinema is a festival based upon our mission statement and the objectives and methods as stated within the entry form.
Applications are open for the 3rd International Film Festival in Balneário Camboriú – CINERAMA.BC 2013.To submitt a film at the 2013 edition it’s necessary to download the regulations and the film submission form on the links located at the right sidebar.
