Fingal Film Festival Ireland prepares for launch of third year with an amazing line up of National & International screenings and events in 2014.

Following a very busy  and successful  2013,  and the launch of our new website and logo this week designed by LM Design, Fingal  Film  Festival  Organisers are  back at  their desks  preparing  for  next  year’s  spectacular event.

Submissions are NOW open until May 2014, we are accepting the following categories, Feature Films, International, Short Films, Documentary, Animation, Student Films, also this year we have added a new category Irish Language.  The festival in 2014 will host an eclectic mix of Short films, International, Feature Films, Animations, documentaries, and Irish Language, both National and International and as always, we encourage filmmakers from Fingal to submit their work for the prestigious “Best Fingal Newcomer” Award. . “In the coming months the team will also be announcing an amazing line up of Industry professionals who will be facilitating 2014 workshops and who will be on this year’s 2014 PANEL. The organiser’s advice people to keep an eye on the website as places for these workshops are limited and will fill up fast.

Liz and Dave were delighted to accept this year’s award “it’s a great achievement for a festival running only two years, We are proud of this award and the voluntary team that work effortlessly with the festival every year and our supporters”  We form part of the festival landscape in Ireland, but continuously strive to be different, we have eight awards a year for best Feature Film, Best Documentary, Best Animation , Best student, Best newcomer in fingal award , Best short film, Best international Film, Best Irish Language Film   all of these awards will be driven by the submissions in 2014.
