Ruby Mountain Film Festival is gaining momentum! We already have a great lineup with a few weeks left to submit.

RUBY MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL

August 11 to 14, 2011

The RUBY MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL (RMFF) presents a full range of independent and student films from across the globe against the backdrop of the ruggedly beautiful Ruby Mountains in Northeastern Nevada. This four-day event promises to uncover cinematic treasures in both short and feature categories.

With an emphasis on great storytelling, RMFF's program aims to please local audiences and visiting filmmakers and will include narrative, documentary, animation, digital media, and even a poetry to video category. The Festival will focus on a small line-up of films, proving to be an excellent showcase for both veteran and emerging filmmakers seeking to find an audience for their work.

With Jury and Audience Awards across multiple categories, as well as the Ruby Award for career achievement in the Western genre, there are numerous opportunities for filmmaker recognition at RMFF. Inclusive of films of all budgets, from indies to Hollywood fare, the Festival also plans to nurture and present the work of filmmakers from kindergarten through college, offering a variety of student sections and prizes.UPCOMING DEADLINE
