Anne B Real-A story of a female rapper inspired by the diaries of Anne Frank. Shot in New York, on Amsterdam Ave, this story shows you the similarities of Anne Frank's life and the life of Black Latin Cynthia 'Annie in the hood'. Film festivals, award winning, two Independent Spirit Awards nominations, ground-breaking with Black Latin inspired by Jewish Anne Frank context. Teachers recommendations, shown in schools, screenings around the world, being made into a musical stage production. Co-written by Luis Moro.

 

Love & Suicide-Shot in Havana, Cuba and New York, our independent film team goes by invitation to the Havana Film Festival and shoots a film there, guerrilla style, without the permission of either government. This feature film is a love story about a man (Kamar de los Reyes) who goes to Cuba and discovers the one thing between love and suicide. Stars Kamar de los Reyes and Luis Moro. Ongoing screenings around the world. Film festivals around the world, awards, and history making. (AP/NBC4 broke the story), controversial due to filmmaker, Cuban American Luis Moro's outspoken attack against the embargo and standing for human rights. Non political movie, but brings attention to the plight of the Cuban people. Inspirational. International press. Co-written by Luis Moro.

It follows Gale Harold's tortured life as a brother of recluse, blind Sammy in his journey to come to terms with his past. Steve Harris tries to rescue Sammy, as the truth of all of their lives gets revealed and the lessons of life is much too precious to ignore. Venus & Vegas-(2009)  Women are from Venus...Men are from VEGAS!!!  When three Vegas buddies stumble upon the score of a lifetime, they have to walk a fine line between the mobsters who want them dead, and their girlfriends who want their heads. They quickly learn, whether it's love or crime, you gotta be ready to do the time...Story of 3 petty crooks (Donald Faison, Eddie K. Thomas, Eddie Guerra) juggle their "significant other" relationships (Molly Sims, Roselyn Sanches, Jaime Pressly) while weaving their way through their botched burglary against the mob (Abraham Benrubi, Jon Polito, Paul Ben-Victor). Special guest: Florence Henderson, Joe Rogan, Jackie Martling, Steven Bauer. Comedy, due out fall 2009. Written by: Eddie Guerra (CSI).

 

Totally Baked (A Pot-U-Mentary)(2007)-A comedy film that explores the truth about marijuana. Comic Craig Shoemaker stars. Luis Moro Productions did post production.

 

Lean Like A Cholo, the flick-(2009) A comedy about cholo auto body shop mechanics (Guillermo Diaz, Enrique Almeida, Juan Martinez, Robert Zapata) who discovers that life is not all that they thought it was going to be. Gangster lifestyle, and irresponsible pot smoking will not give them the results they want as they get beat up, jailed up, and lose everything. Announcing new film, WHISPERS LIKE THUNDER by Sir Ben Kingsley's production company SBK Pictures and Latino production company, Luis Moro Productions. Telling the true story of 'The Conley Sisters', the three Native American sisters who fought the government with guns, axes and the law to protect their ancestors burial grounds. The Conley sisters gave punches, swung axes, fired guns, and used the law to fight off U.S. troops, police, construction workers, mob thugs, corrupt business men and crooked politicians for several decades to defend their Native American sacred burial ground until their dying day. The Native American fight for honor and respect of the law continues today.

True story background-

LYDA CONLEY

Graduated from Kansas City College of Law in 1902 .Since no man would represent the three sisters against the U.S. Government,Lyda took it upon herself to prepare for legal action by mastering the law todefend the burial grounds. 

FORT CONLEY

While Lyda fought her battle in the courts, her sisterHelena, guarded the self made fort because of the intrusions. Helena wired the cemetery gates together andput up a sign: "You Trespass at Your Own Peril."

The sisters took up their vigil over the graves afterlearning the land was about to be sold. They built a 6 x 8 foot frame structureand placed a fence of iron spikes around it. Helena stood armed with their father's doublebarreled shotgun, an axe and the American Flag. She used them without fear.Instantly, their new home became known as "Fort Conley."
