Cornwall Film Festival is now calling for entries for the following categories:

DECENT EXPOSURE UK Newcomers Short Film Competition Entries of any genre from anywhere in the UK made by new filmmakers. Qualifiers for newcomers Films: Maximum length: 20 minutes (approx.) Filmmakers must be either a student or an up-and-coming filmmaker Films must have been completed since January 2012. Award: Jury Award - Decent Exposure Newcomers Award

DIGITAL PIONEERS *New for 2013 This category is open to all online interactive & cross-media digital content being made in Cornwall, which could be drama, documentary, animation, motion graphic, music video, experimental - anything. We are looking for exciting, innovative, creative content being produced specifically for online and new media platforms. Qualifiers for Digital Pioneers: Maximum length: 10 minutes Creators must be based in Cornwall Content must have been completed since January 2012 Content will be judged on: Production quality - Writing, editing, direction. We're not interested inthe most aesthetically-pleasing product but we want to see content that engages an audience Potential for audience sharing - Interactivity a bonus Originality - We want to see something extraordinary with real thought given to target audience Award: KEO Digital Pioneers Award

EYE-TOONS ANIMATION COMPETITION This is a competitive category for short animated films submitted from anywhere in the UK Qualifiers for Eye-Toons Maximum length: 15 minutes (approx.) Films can originate from anywhere in the UK Films must have been completed since January 2012 Award: Spider Eye Animation Award FILMS WITHOUT BORDERS International Short Film Competition This category is for short films of any genre, from anywhere in the world. Qualifiers for Without Borders Maximum length: 20 minutes (approx.) Films can originate from anywhere in the world Films must have been completed since January 2012 Award: Without Borders International Short Film Award CINE KERNOW We take pride in the growing Cornish film industry, and a key aim of the Festival is showcasing films made in Cornwall, by Cornish filmmakers, as well as films with a strong link to Cornwall or Cornish culture. Films of all genres will be accepted into this category and films of any length. Qualifiers for Cine Kernow: The writer, director or producer must be currently resident in Cornwall, OR the film must demonstrate a strong link to Cornwall. Films must have been completed since January 2012. Relevant Awards: Jury Award – Best Cornish Film of the Festival The Delabole Slate Golden Chough Grand Prize The Delabole Slate Audience Award for Best Film

THE EDGE – Experimental / Art / Non-narrative Films The Edge includes experimental, art and non-narrative films from anywhere in the world. Qualifiers for The Edge: Maximum length: 20 minutes (approx.) Films can originate from anywhere in the world Films must have been completed since January 2012 Award: On the Edge Award
