The line-up has been announced for
the trinidad+tobago film festival 2011 (ttff/11), with more films screening
than ever before in the festival's history.
The ttff, sponsored by Flow, is a
celebration of the best films from the Caribbean, the Caribbean Diaspora and
Latin American countries in the Caribbean Basin. This year will see nearly 100
feature-length and short films being screened at the festival, which takes
place from September 21 to October 04.

Aside from its competition sections IFF Bratislava each year presents three focus sections. One of them is All at the beach! dedicated to films connected to the ocean the beach and the unique aura these places create. Main awards all go to first films
This Saturday evening, Georgian director George Ovashvili received the CHF 30.000 prize from the hands of jury president Hanna Schygulla. THE OTHER BANK also won the Audience Award. The prestigious "Talent Tape Award" worth CHF 23.000 in non-cash benefit was handed to Iranian director Nader T. Homayoun for his film TEHROUN.

The competition line up of the 24th Fribourg International Film Festival was revealed today. 13 long features from Asia, Latin America and the Caucasus have been selected.
