42nd Torino Film Festival with Sharon Stone, Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker

SHARON STONE AND MATTHEW BRODERICK AT THE 42TFF

The two Hollywood stars will be attending the Torino Film Festival in order to present two of their cult films and receive the award “Stella della Mole”.

Sharon Stone, the absolute diva of the big screen and Matthew Broderick, one of the most known actors, will be attending the 42nd Torino Film Festival. The two iconic stars will present two of their most famous films and will receive the prestigious “Stella della Mole” award, the cinematographic recognition that is assigned to leading figures in international cinema.

With Sharon Stone, the TFF audience will be catapulted into the western atmosphere of Sam Raimi's "The Quick and the Dead", a film she also co-produced, in which she plays a beautiful and lethal gunslinger alongside Gene Hackman and two actors, emerging at the time, who would leave their mark, Leonardo Di Caprio and Russell Crowe.

Matthew Broderick, who will arrive in Turin accompanied by his wife, actress Sarah Jessica Parker, will discuss with the audience his relationship with Marlon Brando during the shooting of "The Freshman", in which he was the young co-star and which will be screened as part of the retrospective dedicated to Brandom.

In this film an NYC film school student accepts a job with a local mobster who resembles a famous cinema godfather and who takes the young man under his wing.

The Torino Film Festival is organized by the National Cinema Museum of Turin in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture General Directorate of Cinema and Audiovisual, the Piedmont Region, the City of Turin, the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, and the CRT Foundation.
