The Franco American Cultural Fund today announced the line-up for the12th Annual City of Lights, City of Angels (COL•COA) film festival that will run from April 14-20. It is the midpoint of the festival and the artistry of some of the films are in question. Critics argue that there is little creative representation. Yesterday a preview of "Dreamgirls" featuring Jamie Foxx, Beyonce Knowles, and Eddie Murphy was held in the Martinez. The films overseas success was in question due the musical nature with black stars. The film is said to be quite smart and not what you'd expect.
