Spanish intellectual property attorney and photographer, Pedro del Santo considers fashion as a gem for flm that has been neglected. PARANOID GIRLS is the evolution of what will become a central theme for major flm in Spain, according to Del Santo.
“PARANOID GIRLS has always been defned as a crazy comedy about the world of fashion, yet there are many reasons to place the flm in the world of the catwalk.
Fashion is a very powerful topic. We provide interesting and original characters and situations that are far removed from the routine of ordinary citizens, making them valuable from the point of view of flm. Fashion is a world of deep interest and appeal for double faced posing. We speak of the visible part of the show and glamor, cameras and spotlights, as opposed to its complexity between racks and the dark face of eating disorders, suffering, competitiveness and even drugs.
Fashion has its glittering façade of great attraction for flm, but also the most unknown and gloomy backroom.” From his experience as a fashion photographer, Pedro Del Santo depicts the elements of the fashion world intuitively in PARANOID GIRLS.
