'DOWN AND OUT IN CANNES' DOC - NEW VERSION 2013
Subsequent to the tragic murder at the end of 2012 of Ian, one of the 2 men intimately portrayed in DOWN AND OUT IN CANNES, the film is being re edited to include footage which could not previously be included & the new version released for Film Festival viewing.
The point of the film was always to communicate Robin's (the other homeless man in the film who as a result of making the film is now off the street) powerful message to young people - "if you're being abused - SPEAK OUT, STOP THE ABUSE, GET HELP & don't end up addicted & homeless like me'.
If you run a Film Festival or have a venue where this message to young people needs to be heard please contact me & let's get DOWN AND OUT IN CANNES shown around the world & try and save lives before they spiral out of control and end in tragedy, like Ian's.
Many thanks
