(Please note: Animation Nights New York (ANNY) has ROLLING DEADLINES. If you have not received a notification it means your film is still in the running to be screened at one of our monthly events!)

Animation Nights New York (ANNY) is a curated monthly animation screening and networking event held in the South Street Seaport of NYC. We want to do more then just screen animation. We hope to create a forum for an exchange of ideas in a friendly environment. Admission is free.

ANNY Best of Fest is a culmination of the Animation Nights New York screening events. It is a two day festival held annually in the South Street Seaport of NYC (Sept). The festival features animation screenings, virtual reality animation experiences, art installations, professional panels, and industry events.

Awards & Prizes

The monthly screenings (Aug - July) are curated. These events culminate in a juried annual ANNY Best of Fest (Sept). The films selected as "screened" at the regular monthly programs are automatically submitted to the annual juried show.

The 20 filmmakers selected for the 2016 ANNY Best of Fest received free one year subscriptions to Craft (http://www.itsoncraft.com/) and Stash (http://www.stashmedia.tv/).

Winner of the Animation for Adults prize received an Intuos Pro from Wacom.

ANNY Best of Fest filmmakers may be eligible for a broadcast/distribution deal with ShortsHD or Shorts International Limited.
