13th TDF: EDN Award Ceremony on March 18th 2011
The Thessaloniki Documentary Festival director, Dimitris Eipides, was this year’s recipient of the European Documentary Network (EDN) award, presented annually to honor individuals and organizations from Europe with noted contributions to the documentary genre. With the appointment of Cecilia Lidin as Head of EDN follows also a reorganisation of the EDN office and of the way EDN will be functioning. The daily running and strategic planning will be done in shared management between Lidin and EDN Network Manager Hanne Skjødt. Together they will be responsible for both the short and long term developments of EDN and will be referring to the EDN Executive Committee.
