Calling all filmmakers! The Universe Multicultural Film Festival is open for entries. UMFF showcases international films that emphasize diversity and cultural heritage. UMFF accepts films of all genres, from shorts to feature length films. Both emerging and seasoned filmmakers are welcome.

UMFF also has contests for screenplays and film music. Competing screenplays have the chance to be chosen for a live performance at our Screenplay Showcase. Selected musicians are invited to perform at one of our three galas.

Filmmakers who attend the festival on April 12-14, 2024 can take part in many opportunities, including panels lead by professionals in the film industry and a glamorous red carpet event. Selected filmmakers receive a complimentary booth at the film market. The film market, along with the pitch-and-catch panel, are opportunities for filmmakers to meet with potential distributors, investors, and buyers. There will also be many opportunities to meet with fellow filmmakers at the many post-screening q&a’s and at the Filmmakers’ Reception.
