Shame on the French organizers

As a 3D caricaturist doing my business in Second Life, I was asked by Galienni Renoir, who is part of the team organizing this "event", if I could go on the Palace's stairs on the island GANGZ to show some of my caricatures, to promote their festival, Which I did. After 5 mns of showing my 3D caricatures, I got yelled at by the owner of the island GANGZ, who apparently had no clue that 3D caricatures would be part of HIS festival (so much for a good festival organization...) Here is the IM I received from that person, who, I am now sure, is a REAL-LIFE French person, judging by his rude language and behavior: "Mric Hawks: Get the hell out of here. Mric Hawks: Don't stay on the stairs. Christophe Hugo: who are you to talk to me like that? Mric Hawks: I own this island. If you don;t like it go F*** yourself" Christophe Hugo: I'll forward your message to Galienni, who asked me to come here to promote our island Mric Hawks: said not on the top of the stairs but you can stay elsewhere for the promo." I obviously did not stay any longer after that kind of "reception". This "festival" is just one more of those fake, hollow, events aimed at creating some quick buzz. Well, here is my buzz: French people in SL are as rude as French people in RL. Some scoop... Christophe Hugo

Christophe hugo
