The  1st Annual Lady Filmmakers Film Festival has officially been launched. Now accepting submissions from around the world. Films submitted must have a woman in one of the following positions: Writer, Director, Cinematographer, or Producer. This is a celebration of lady filmmakers and the men who collaborate with them.

Check out the festival online @ www.ladyfilmmakers.com. The festival will take place October 17th & 18th 2009 at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, CA.  

 We will have a  hybrid selection process by a combination of fan votes and selection committee!

Short and Feature films will be considered in the following categories: 

LADIES FIRST-Any length and genre and must be a premiere. (US, World, Los Angeles)

LADIES ILLUMINATE-Films that bring awareness to social issues facing women and families today. Any length and genre.

LADIES KICK BUTT-Films that have an intrinsic entertainment value and/or portray strong female leads Any length or genre.
