McMinnville Short Film Festival MSFF

 The 8th Annual McMinnville Short Film Festival (MSFF) will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 9-10, 2019, in McMinnville, Oregon, USA.

This festival is open to amateur and professional filmmakers alike. The goal of the MSFF is to provide a venue where short filmmakers can have their films viewed by an audience and to provide a networking opportunity to filmmakers in order to learn and share with each other.

Films will be judged and awarded as follows:

  • Grand Jury Prize - $500 cash prize plus trophy
  • Best Director - trophy
  • Best Story - trophy
  • Best Cinematography - trophy
  • Best Editing - trophy
  • Best Music/Score - trophy
  • Best Sound Mixing - trophy
  • Best Actor - trophy
  • Best Actress - trophy
  • Will Vinton Award for Best Animation - $150 cash prize plus certificate
  • Sunrise Rotary Award - $100 cash prize plus certificate
  • Recology Sustainability Award - $100 cash prize plus certificate

The application process is now open for the 5th Annual McMinnville Short Film Festival! Entry deadline is August 25, 2015. However, if you submit your film by August 15th, 2015, the entry fee will be only $30 instead of $35. The entry fee includes admission to the festival screening event AND to all of the roundtables. Roundtable Sessions for Filmmakers

We can now announce that we are offering 3 roundtable sessions for filmmakers and the general public who enter a film or purchase an admission.
