CEE AnimationCEE ANIMATION is the new umbrella name for all the activities previously known as VISEGRAD ANIMATION FORUM, or VAF.The joint effort of the CEE Animation platform is to improve the interconnection of Central and Eastern European countries, establish an effective communication network among all players in the animation industry and create suitable conditions for international co-productions. Another piece into the puzzle of success is opening up a discussion with public service televisions and film funds of the region. CEE ANIMATION FORUMaccess to markets, lectoring, pitching, networking Formerly known as VAF TREBON, this pitching competition is open for proposals of animated projects in development in three categories: Short Films (single film less than 20 min.), Series / TV Specials (series of any format and single films over 20 min.) and Feature Films. CEE ANIMATION WORKSHOPdynamic tailor-made workshop for experienced animated film producers The CEE Animation Workshop is a networking and training event. The pilot edition organized in Ljubljana in December 2017 brought together 26 professionals from 19 CEE countries and helped to build a stronger and more knowledgeable regional network of co-producers, artists, planners, marketers, sellers and financing partners. CEE ANIMATION TALENTSdissemination and promotion of short films by promising young talents This project, formerly known as VAF NEW TALENTS, is intended for promotion and alternative distribution of the most talented young animation filmmakers from Central and Eastern Europe. Its aim is to present internationally the best films made by students and debuting artists in a given year to professional and festival audience. CEE Animation is supported from the Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the European Union and co-funded by state funds and foundations and professional organisations from the Czech Republic (ASAF, Association of Czech Animation), Hungary (MOME ANIM, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest), Poland (SPPA, Polish Animation Producers Association), Slovakia (APAF, Slovak Association of Animated Film Producers) and Slovenia (:D’SAF!, Slovenian Animated Film Association). |
