By LINDSAY R. BELLINGER
If only the films in Competition and those films in other sections such as Un Certain Regard, where Midi Z's ambitious and somewhat disorienting film Nina Wu premiered could also be up for the best actor awards. If that were the case, then Ke-Xi Wu's dynamic turn as Nina Wu would have hands-down gotten the best actress award, especially since I watched the winning actress's performance and wa...
Director: Dmitri Frolov.
Two completely traditional couples of lovers on a warm summer night make a kind of coming-out in front of each other, telling about their hidden impulses from a previous life.
The impetus to making the film was the book of the same name by the Russian religious philosopher Vasily Rozanov, who died 100 years ago. His treatise was devoted to the study of sexuality and its denial in Christianity.
The film was made in the style of experimental films of the 1920s with a non-linear narrative full of strange surrealistic images. He is black and white and devoid of dialogue. The image is based on the music of Alexander Scriabin "The Poem of Ecstasy", composed and performed also at the beginning of the 20th century.
Director: Kirk Demorest.
Phoebe and Blaze, two middle school best friends, suddenly find their lives upside down when Phoebe's homophobic parents decide the girls shouldn't play together any longer.
Pitch Perfect 3, review: Fat Amy’s tall father and DJ Khaled’s Bella a capella
Wrapping-up the three-part series, the third instalment queers the pitch and is not perfect by a long mile. Some tweens have enjoyed their 93 minutes at the cinema-house, judging by the box-office collections, and so be it. More discerning cine-goers might have a flippant time at best, watching some caustic exchanges, routine choreography and songs that don’t stay with you too long.

Margarita, With a Straw, Review: Heady Cocktail of Passions Raw
Earlier titled Chhoone Chali Aasman (she’s reaching for the sky), the film settles for an even more abstract title. Margarita, as a drink, might be known only to the club/bar circuit among the upper middle class and upper class of Indian society. Moreover, a large part of the dialogue is in English, often-sub-titled. Then to discover that it is the story of a young woman struck with cerebral palsy, who wants to be a creati...

Min Mamma alska lesbiska or Mums lesbian lover ( MLL ) is an alternate love story between two women MAGDA played by SABRINA CHIMEKA and KATARINA played by SELMA GLASELL whose relationship started when they were at boarding school. Unfortunately for the pair MAGDA was expelled for smoking before their relationship could be fully developed and its not until years later at a chance meeting between the two in Sweden. MAGDA who is now a born again Christian Film making lecturer is invited on a break to Sweden by a church friend Michelle played by KETORAH WILLIAMS that it is realised.
Filmed on location in England the film is in both English and in Swedish.
The Film challenges discrimination and the need for rights to be carried out , from Copyright rights , black civil rights , gender rights and lastly gay rights. It presents the truth and reality of racism even amongst the wealth y and well to do where MAGDA the black lead is not accepted by her peers at the boarding school despite the financial clout being reached by MAGDAs parents. This reality is further displayed even in the gay and lesbian relationship where KATARINA – MAGDAs love interest decides that it is best not to further develop the relations hip . It further presents conventional views on held by the church on gay and lesbian relationship whilst challenging that view with a twist

We live in a society that condemns pedophiles, though biological instinct and world cultures throughout history suggest that an attraction to adolescents is as natural as it is unavoidable. The fashion industry on the one hand sexualizes ever-younger girls while those who act on these instincts are reviled. The apparent hypocrisy at the heart of society forces the question: What do we mean when we talk about Pedophilia? Are All Men Pedophiles?
