FilmOut San Diego's 16th LGBT Film Festival will be May 30 - June 1, 2014

The mission of FilmOut San Diego is to enlighten, educate, and entertain the communitites of San Diego County through the exhibition of LGBT-themed films. FilmOut San Diego seeks to recognize, promote, celebrate and support the important diverse artistic contributions LGBT filmmakers make to our community.

Eligibility Requirements:
    * Film submission screeners are ONLY accepted on DVD (NTSC-Region 1) or password protected online link. (If applicable, all films must have English subtitles)
    * Completed Entry Form must accompany the screener submission. There are no screening fees required to submit a film.
    * More than one entry may be submitted, but on a separate Entry Form.
    * Submission DVD screeners should be labeled with the film title, running time, and contact information (name, phone, e-mail).
    * Submitted entry materials will NOT be returned. Please DO NOT submit film prints, master tapes or other original materials for entry consideration.
    * Submission deadline is March 15th, 2014.

Acceptance Notification:
    * Filmmakers whose works are officially selected for the 2014 FilmOut Festival will be notified no later than April 1st, 2014 (we do not send out regret letters for films that are NOT selected).
    * If your film is selected to the Festival, you will be expected to provide a completed DIGIBETA (NTSC), BETASP (NTSC), DVD (NTSC-Region 1 only) screening tape to be received by FilmOut San Diego no later than May 1st, 2014. (There is NO film capability at our venue - The Birch North Park Theatre).
    * Additional materials should also be submitted once selected: hi-res jpegs, synopsis, posters, film clips, etc.

Acceptance Terms
All selected entries do hereby grant FilmOut San Diego the right to use footage, stills, and/or titles and information from the film for promotional purposes to include, but not limited to, cable, TV, Internet, radio and print sources.
