The Lake Arrowhead Film Festival is proud to announce the 2009 Lake Arrowhead Film Festival Online. This year we will be offering an outstanding lineup of short films in various categories for your online viewing pleasure.
In January, several documentary makers familiar to the IDFA audience were awarded at Sundance 2009. IDFA is pleased to congratulate Kim Longinotto, Havana Marking and Anders Østergaard.
The largest Mountain & Adventure Filmfestival with competition in german speaking Europe! Main prize is the "Grand Prix Graz" + €uro 5.000,-- category prizes "Camera Alpine in Gold" + €uro 3.000,--

Magma has always focused
exclusively on the short film, considering it as a separate art form,
as a format allowing the experimentation of new styles and the creation
of new trends. The festival offers a chance of visibility for high-value works that
are often precluded from the main distribution channels. Its aim is to
build a bridge between the audience and the endless forms of expression
of the short format.
The Camden International Film Festival (CIFF) is committed to
supporting and generating interest in independent documentary films.
The annual festival presents a snapshot of the cultural landscape
through the year’s best non-fiction storytelling, connecting filmmakers
with eager audiences and industry representatives to discuss
documentary film as an art form, a catalyst for change and as an outlet
for the independent voice.
Main purpose is to attract people's attention to justice in the modern world. The festival accepts films dedicated to human rights, animal and environmental protection, social, philosophical films, films on moral aspects.
Do we need movie critics? US newspapers and magazines increasingly think not. In recent years, many of the most celebrated film reviewers in the US have either retired or lost their jobs.

On one level, 'Necrobusiness' is an amusing account of how three business partners fall out when their business strategy goes awry. On another, it is a terrifying tale of murder, blackmail, and ultimately betrayal.
IDFA’s Kids and Docs sidebar, showcasing international documentaries made for children aged eight to thirteen, has gone from strength to strength this year, with sell-out screenings most afternoons.

The Seventh Annual Tribeca Film Festival (TFF) 2008 premiere film of MAN ON WIRE, directed by James Marsh was held at The New School Tishman Auditorium, Saturday, April, 26, 5:30 pm.
