Out of more than 1,200 entries from 87 countries the program commission has selected "Scrappy" by Dawn Westlake to be part of the ZEBRINO competition of the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Münster|Berlin.

"Scrappy" has been selected to play the Coffi - CortOglobo Film Festival at the Castello Doria in Angri, Italy May 25-27, 2017. Helmed by Dawn Westlake, the film is based on the Studs Terkel Humanities Award-winning poem by her father, Donald G. Westlake. It recounts a time during his childhood in small-town America when he had to stand up to the gun culture.

Documentary film Autumn of Route 66 set to premiere on August 19th at 8pm at AOF International Film Festival has been nominated for Best Picture and Best Female Director.
