About the Director: 

Marija Stonyte was born in 1991 in Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2010 she graduated from the Vilnius Jesuit gymnasium.  She was related to cinema since she was little, but her directing work started when her script has been accepted to the educational cinema seminar “Kino atostogos”. Since then she studied and graduated Skalvija’s film academy, got a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Directing at the Lithuanian academy of Music and Theatre. She has already directed several short films and documentaries. “Too young to drive” is her final work film as a Bachelor's Degree student. She is now studying Master's Degree in Film Directing at Lithuanian academy of Music and Theatre.

<p>Two strangers accidentally meet on a train and immediately find it hard to communicate. Too Young to Drive is a story about the hardship of finding ways to each other.</p> <p>Director:&nbsp;<span>Every year over ten thousand divorces are registered in Lithuania. At times when various means of communication are available to us, we are struggling to find ways and time to talk to a person close to us. Two people. One train. Different directions.&nbsp;</span></p>
