About the Director: 

After a bachelor in Cinema at La Sorbonne in Paris, he was in 2005 an assistant director on the French feature « Le Serpent ». He later became in charge of Short Films for the 2007 Richmond French Film Festival (USA), before creating his own production company in March 2008, AD ASTRA FILMS, with the producer Sébastien AUBERT. Only 23 years old, David GUIRAUD has just finished his first short, The Danaides’ barrel, which he wrote and directed.

About the Producer: 
Founder of Ad Astra Films, Sébastien AUBERT is the managing director and executive producer of the company. After a specialization in Management of cultural activities at EM Lyon Business School, he then started his career as first assistant of the EuroNews Marketing Director (in London), before becoming in charge of Sponsors and Advertisers for the biggest French Film Festival in the United States (VCU French Film Festival of Richmond, VA). He is also the author of a thesis in Master of Science about innovations in cinema financing.

Film synopsis: 
In the desert, a man is buried to his neck in the sand. One does not know anything about him. A young woman, naked under red veils, walks away without paying any attention to him. After getting out of his sand cradle, he will head for the horizon to meet his object of desire.
