About the Director: 

Patrik Eriksson was born in northern Sweden, 1978. Since 2011 he studies editing and directing at the Polish National Film School.

Patrik debuted in 2013 with the short film Who Is Arvid Pekon? which toured at numerous festivals around the world. In 2015 he made the experimental short Wózek. His films usually features strange, haunting worlds where new rules await out protagonists. Neither sci-fi nor fantasy, the films draws on the tradition of wierd, with stories having a face of their own.

Patrik is currently developing a feature script for his 2016 long form 
 debut.

A girl is pushing a fish in a water filled cart across a dark plain. The cart is leaking, and mysterious beings are attracted to the struggle. What awaits in the abyss? The Cart is a haunting yet beautiful short film by Patrik Eriksson, student at the Polish National Film School in Lodz, Poland.
