About the Director: 

Born March 16, 1976 in Kinshasa, she studied cinema at the University of Brussels. Once graduated she worked as a Production Assistant for Kathleen de Bethune at Simple Production.

After experience in the documentary genre, she discovered the Guerilla film makers in London working as volunteers for no budget films. She decided then to put her energy into the writing of her first movie "Everybody has reasons to be angry with her mother."

ecile MULOMBE MBOMBOBorn: 9th August 1977 (Congo RDC), live in Belgium.She studied Mixed-Media Arts and Photography in a fine Art course and communication BA(hons) in London Guildhall University where she is been graduated.After an experience as runner in a large feature 'La Mante' of director and producer Marc levie, she dedicated herself in the study of cinematography in Madrid, what gaveher a deep knowledge for lighting and film cameras.Straight after getting her master,she worked as Focus puller in Mweze Ngangura's film ' Les habits neufs du gouverneurs' in his team B. Since she has never stopped working as camera person and lighting camera operator for short films, performance videos for artists, promotional films and documentaries.She got her first break as cinematographer by collaborating a first short from the director Ladie Bidinga 'Lula', which knew an official selection for the Amiens International film festival in 2008, and of the African film festival “FESPACO” 2009.As producer she has done the production of the 10- minutes short film « tous le monde a des raisons d'en vouloir à sa mère » of Pauline Mulombe, in which one, she was also the director of photography.Camera operator for cinema and TV also, I've been a part of the Bel'Afrika team since April 2009.
