AYDIN EREL studied drama at the Istanbul Conservatoire and acted in major professional theatres. Later, he’s obtained AD diploma in Photography, Film & TV Production at the Bournemouth & Poole College of Art in UK, 1979. He also acquired a diploma membership in the Society of Industrial Artists & Designers of London. He worked in London as a film editing assistant and a freelance photographer.On his return to Turkey, Erel worked in advertising field and he’s established a production company called "Objektif Prodüksiyon.” in 1984. He’s also worked in Brazil as an advertising photographer, DP and director. Returning to his native land, Erel was employed by ATV, one of the major national broadcasters, as a director, he also acted on the television series "Bizimkiler" for two years. His enthusiasm for theatre never faded away, he still continues to direct and act in the theatre occasional. He is one of the partners of 8. Sanat Yapim & Organizasyon Ltd film Production Company.He is a founding member of the Documentary Filmmakers’ Association of Turkey and in addition the Movie Producer Professional Association of Turkey. He speaks English fluently and Portuguese in communication level.
