Zookastar, LondonWe have TWO competitions running at Zookastar:SHORT FILM COMPETITIONGENERAL INFORMATION Zookastar is a new festival celebrating all things brilliant about film and related media. Held across 7 zones, the festival looks at film production, new talent, animation, studio launches and more. 3 cinemas will programme a wide variety of films, with the Short Film Competition shortlisted entrants’ films being shown, and the announcement of the overall winner at the festival by one of our special guests and a prize of US $500 for the oevrall winner. WHAT CAN YOU SUBMIT Zookastar are calling for entries of short films lasting no more than 30 minutes. Entries must be in English or subtitled in English. Genres acceptable are Action, Adaptation, Adventure, Animation, Art-house, Asian, Black, Black Comedy, Bollywood, Children, Comedy, Crime, Drama, Fantasy, Hindi, Horror, Science Fiction and Thriller SUBMISSION DEADLINES The submission process is open from 1st June 2013. The closing date for submissions for Zookastar 2013 is 12th August 2013. SUBMISSION FORMAT Submissions can only be accepted on DVDs. Format PAL. We do not return screeners. ENTRY FEE There is no entry fee. IF YOUR FILM IS ACCEPTED…. If your feature is accepted you must be able to supply a 35mm print, DCP or Blu-ray disc. No other projection formats are accepted. All projection materials must be in London ten days prior to the festival. MUSIC VIDEO COMPETITIONGENERAL INFORMATION In association with GeneroTV we are holding a competition to make the officla music video for Tricky's new track 'Hey Love'. WHAT CAN YOU SUBMIT
