Parody 48 Hour Film Contest is exactly what you’d think it is! Participating teams get 48 hours to watch their assigned film, come up with a parody script, cast it, shoot it, edit it, lay down a soundtrack, and get us the final version on DVD!

 

Winning films will receive bragging rights and an awesome prize package donated by Sony Creative Software!!

Presented  by SONY Creative Software and sponsored by the New York City Independent Film Festival and Cieri Media International Corporation, the Parody 48 Hour Film Contest is guaranteed to be the most fun you’ve ever had staying up for 2 days!!

All participating filmmakers meeting all film requirements will have their films screened shortly after the contest. Attendees of the screenings will rate each film, and Audience Choice Awards will be given to the three top-rated films. Winning films will receive bragging rights and an awesome prize package!

Be sure to get your team registered on www.parody48.com ASAP! Registration closes at 5pm on April 30th, 2013!

(Festival packs with the name of your film and all paperwork to be turned in will be handed out at the opening party on May 3rd at the Producer's Club on 44th and 9th NY, NY. Particpating teams must attend.)
