Colortape International Film FestivalIs a world wide international film competition and the only festival in the world running simultaneously in many countries at the same time and under the same name. Film festival organizers are aiming to bridge cultural differences between many countries and people from different backgrounds and heritage. The festival is also aiming to make a cultural impact to people who understand & know little or near nothing about other people's culture hoping to break cultural barriers. Therefore, the festival organisers are running and offering awards in a large range & various categories for filmmakers to compete in. Colortape International Film Festival is joining forces with global partners in order to create an international competition which will run in every corner of the globe. From a technical point of view our aim for the competition is to discover and merge new talent, from the world of amateur and professionals in making commercials and films, whilst encouraging students, from media, graphics design, animation, film, IT, marketing and other related fields to enter a unique competition and be discovered & rewarded with the help of Colortape, a privately funded and managed film production organization. Calling all artists, fans and budding filmmakers to enter many of the available competition categories, which vary from: feature films at various lengths, various languages, shorts in either commercials (promo format) of a length of 60 seconds or less, short film categories (4 minutes or less including credits), musicals, iPOD vidlets etc. Some competitions will need to adhere to particular themes, others need to be made in according to their Periodic (quarterly) listing. These competitions are for the professionally skilled & trained people aiming to impress fellow competitors, general viewers, sponsors, educators, judges and current or prospective employers. “Many people talk about the comparisons between the arts and film, animation or graphics design, actors and filmmakers, the great movies and TV commercials ... well we are done yapping! COLORTAPE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL hopes to bring the best and greatest artists, filmmakers and the creative mind together. The opportunity has arrived for all amateurs and professionals or advanced creative minds to compete at an international level from wherever you come from or live, and we welcome you to register in any chosen category at Colortape International Film Festival. Be it either a TV commercials, mere logo designs, banner, lower thirds & title creation, VFX, SFX, animation, or any form of digital promotional work for mobile technology, web, DVD or other, our passion for the big screen is matched by our passion for marketing - we embrace this new venture with open arms and look forward to viewing the public's response to our worldwide competition.
