Cinema Perpetuum Mobile International Short Film Festival

Festival
Festival presentation:

“Cinema Perpetuum mobile” is an international
cinema cooperation festival that gathers independent film makers and
their groups to work under the theme of the perpetual motion.

The project is aimed at cinema cultural diversity
and the promotion of independent auteur movies. Festival co-operation
aims to cover all countries and continents from Scandinavia to the Cape
of Good Hope and from Patagonia to the Aleutian Islands.

“Cinema Perpetuum mobile” is a non-commercial project,
so the organizers aspire only to cover their expenses on the festival
while the participants whose films are included into a short list can
pretend to receive dividends in case the collection of “Perpetuum
Mobile” films is shown in cinemas after festival. The participation in
our cinema cooperation festival is free. Organizer of the festival is an
independent association «Kinaklub.org», principles of which are
cinemania, self-organization, decentralization, mutual aid.

Any film maker or a film making group can take part in the “Cinema
Perpetuum Mobile” festival. In frames of the project, every participant
shoots a short movie (max. 20 min.) on the given topic, namely the
perpetual motion, or the “perpetuum mobile”. If you already have a film
of your own that meets the concept of the festival you may as well send
it to us and in this way take part in the festival. The authors are free
to artistically interpret the theme and develop their ideas on what the
“perpetuum mobile” is. All movie genres are acceptable except for
documentaries. No breach of copyright is permitted.

The working languages of the festival are English, Belarusian and
Russian. If your film is done in another language different from the
above mentioned it must be supplied with English, or Belarusian, or
Russian subtitles.

Only registered participants may send their works. So please download a registration form here, fill it in and send it to cinemapm@gmail.com.

Registration is necessary for filmmakers who not have films according to a theme of our Festival "perpetual motion".

As a rule participants shoot a new movie specially for "Cinema Perpetuum Mobile".

But we accept any films whose appropriate the topic "perpetual motion" or one of nominations:

Perpetuum Ars (the best art-idea)
Perpetuum Idea (the best idea)
Perpetuum Vita (the best concept of existence)
Perpetuum Adversi ( the best concept of resistance)
Prpetuum Libertas ( the best concept of liberty)

The ready-to-view movies must be written on a DVD-disk and sent with a
completed participant form to the following post address:

“Cinema PM” Martyniuk A.
