Brooklyn Indie House

Brooklyn Indie House is an independent film festival held every Spring and Fall. Since opening in 2005, it has become an intellectual and cultural center for independent filmmakers. The BIH was created to show the best Black and Latino indie films in the classic theater environment.

Brooklyn Indie House is accepting films in the following categories:

  • Narrative
  • Documentary
  • Experimental and Animation
  • Children

GET PAID TO SHOW YOUR FILM
Every year we select up to 8 shorts and 4 features to participate in the Brooklyn Indie House. Each movie will have red carpet opening night and a total of 6(six) screenings at specially selected theaters in Brookyln, New York. At end of the season we count up the tickets sales then share the proceeds with the filmmakers.
