About cineramabc
Gevaerd André
(Cinerama.BC) We are honored to present the 3rd Balneário Camboriú International Film Festival – CINERAMA.BC. International Film Festival – the main window of CINERAMA.BC, where films have their domestic or international premiere and are all in competition. Both domestic and international films compete in the same category. The curatorship focuses on presenting films from both consolidated and first time directors, in an effort to stimulate different sensibilities. New Media International Festival – created in order to recognize the new means of cinematic production and the new exhibition formats, it focuses on raising awareness and expanding independent production in these formats and present the possibility of new ones. Catarina Showcase – it is where films that relate to the state of Santa Catarina in some capacity (location, soundtrack, director, producer, cast etc.) are screened. CINERAMA.BC Residence – created in order to provide a new space for young filmmakers to develop their craft, contributing to their professional enrichment. Open to the general public.
