Film festival Go Short kicks off with a statement! The third edition of Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen kicked off with a statement. “We have an asshole government that is killing the art”. The festival opened with the world premiere of Danyael Sugawara’s new film After You, a film made as a statement against the cutbacks in the cultural sector. From 16 – 20 March hundreds of film fans and filmmakers get together to enjoy the best European short films. Go Short is the first festival to have a public crowd-funding market, CineCrowd, where the audience will get the chance to support new filmproductions. Go Short takes place from 16 - 20 March in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Program highlights CineCrowd Industry Day Go Short - International Short Film Festival Nijmegen annually showcases the best European short films. For five days, Go Short's visitors are awaited by 280 fiction films, animation films, documentaries and art films in theatres, public spaces and online.
