Wirral International Film Festival

Well here we are getting ready for and organising this years 4th Wirral International Film Festival. WIFF 2011.We have just returned from Latina Italy were we presented the awards for the best of the Italian section of WIFF 2010. We were also there as guests of The Latina Film Commission and it's Director Rino Piccolo. We had a great time and made some more great connections with the Italian film making community.We will be returning to Latina in August of this year with the winners of the English contributions from WIFF 2010 to enter their Documenta Film Fest 2011 which will be held in the town of Sezze Latina.The Latina Film Commission and the Documenta Film Fest have been very enthusiastic about what we are doing to promote local film making on an International level especially with our twin peninsulas. They are going to offer continued support and we will do the same for them. They will also attend our Film Festival every year as our guests to give out awards to our Filmmakers. This years 4th Wirral International Film Festival will take place every night from Monday 12th to Saturday 17th September 2011 and will be held at the T.A Chetwynd in Oxton Birkenhead. We are calling on all filmmakers amateur or professional to send in their films. This can be of any genre and any length ie, shorts, features, music, documentary, animation etc.It is a free event and there will be awards given out for the best entries and individually for cast and crew. All winners will also automatically be entered into next years Italian Film Festival held in our twin peninsula of Sezze Latina.You can send all of your films to.
