Views of America Tunis

"Views of America" American Independent Cinema Encounters of Tunis.Taking place in Tunis Tunisia, VOA is an event that has America as a theme through Independant cinema. The goal is to offer movie experiences to the general public at large and students at Tunisia’s Schools of Cinema and audiovisual arts in particular. Most of the projections are followed by strong debates and workshops involving Tunisian movie goers, school students and american film makers invited to Tunis to talk about their craft. One of the main partners of VOA in selecting films is the Sundance Institute through its Film Forward Program.The 3d edition will take place December 9, 10, 11 and 12; 2010. Going to Tribecca Film Fest

The 3 winners for the 2009 Views of America film contest are Adel Ben Moussa, Mohamed Oussaifi and Mohamed Salah Argui. They got teir US visa ready and their plane ticket for an April 23d flight to NYC where they will be attending theTtribecca Film Fest.
