Never-before-released Tribeca Talks are here!

We Are One — a global film festival we produced with YouTube to support COVID-19 relief efforts — is in full swing, and if you haven’t tuned in yet, don’t wait a second longer. Right now we’re pulling back the curtain on two never-before-released Tribeca Talks that any film lover will appreciate.

First up, there’s a 2017 conversation between groundbreaking performance artist Marina Abramović and Oscar-winning filmmaker Alejandro Iñárritu — the first Mexican filmmaker to have been nominated for Best Director and Best Producer in the history of the Academy Awards. They discuss films like Amores Perros, 21 Grams, Biutiful, Birdman, and The Revenant. (If you need something to watch after the festival, we recommend adding these to your list!)

Their exclusive chat is streaming now on YouTube and will be available for seven days.

Those of you who attended the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival may recognize our next talk: Francis Ford Coppola and Steven Soderbergh, who got onstage to talk about the legacy of 1979’s Apocalypse Now — and why forty years later, Coppola decided to restore it from the original negative for 2019’s Apocalypse Now: Final Cut.

Now this in-depth discussion is airing for everyone to enjoy, starting tomorrow at 6:15pm EDT on the We Are One YouTube channel. It will also be available on demand for seven days after the first showing, so don’t miss your chance to tune in. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

We Are One, which airs every day on YouTube from 7AM to 7PM until June 7, has many more unforgettable stories and perspectives to share. Follow along on social media with the hashtags #WeAreOne and #WeAreOneGFF. If you enjoy the programming, please consider donating to the World Health Organization to fight the COVID-19 crisis.
