A little something to satisfy your late-night hungerNeed a late-night snack? The Tribeca 2020 Shorts Program, a tasty sampler of bite-sized films, aired today as part of We Are One, a global film festival produced and organized by Tribeca and YouTube. It features over 100 films co-curated by 21 prolific film festivals, hailing from 35 countries, in addition to talks, VR content, and musical performances — including several culinary-themed narrative shorts that pack a lot of flavor. Action-packed romance meets an Americana-steeped Western adventure in director Michael Goldberg’s “Egg,” following one egg's epic Hollywood journey from farm to table. “TOTO” tells the story of a 90-year-old Italian grandma who becomes enamored with a robot while teaching it how to make spaghetti. Then there’s Abraham Adeyem’s “No More Wings,” about two lifelong friends who meet at their favorite South London fried chicken shop. Finally, in “Cru-Raw” — our 2020 Student Visionary Award winner — a young chef must learn that in this kitchen, a lot of blood, sweat and tears go into making every dish. Don’t miss the rest of our 2020 Shorts Program and the rest of We Are One, which airs every day from 7AM to 7PM until June 7. Explore more programming on the YouTube Page and follow along on social media with the hashtags #WeAreOne and #WeAreOneGFF. Daily updates will be posted on Twitter and Instagram under @WeAreOneGFF.
