Tokyo International Film Festival

The Japan Foundation and the Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) are pleased to announce that we will continue to co-present the TIFF Lounge (formerly Asia Lounge) during the 35th TIFF. In the third year of the event, we have an exciting lineup of guests, selected by a committee that was once again advised by Palme d’Or winner KORE-EDA Hirokazu.*

This year, the original goal of TIFF Lounge can finally be reached, by making it a place where filmmakers can meet, interact, network and present talk sessions. After limitations imposed due to COVID-19 restrictions for the past two years, we are now able to invite acclaimed filmmakers from a variety of countries and regions in Asia and beyond to Tokyo in person, where they will share their stories.

For press members, there will be Q&A sessions during events. The full lineup and program schedule are available on TIFF’s official website.
