FILM CATEGORIES:

BEST SOCIAL ENTERPRENEUR (Short)

  • Social Entrepreneur film – Focus Through Documentary- the Stories of Change. In order to qualify for this category the films must be 45 minutes and below.  All genres accepted.

BEST SOCIAL ENTERPRENEUR (Feature)

  • In order to qualify for this category the films must be at least 46 minutes and up. It must either be a scripted narrative work or improvisional work of fiction. All genres accepted.

BEST NARRATIVE (Feature)

  • In order to qualify for this category the films must be at least 46 minutes and up. It must either be a scripted narrative work or improvisional work of fiction. All genres accepted

BEST NARRATIVE (Short)

  • In order to qualify for this category the films must be at least 45 minutes or less. It must either be a scripted narrative work or improvisional work of fiction. All genres accepted

HUMAN SPIRIT Award

  • This film category is designed to explore the role of film in advancing knowledge about human sacrifices  In order to qualify for this category the film must be at least 20 minutes and above . All genres accepted.

BEST DOCUMENTARY (Feature)

  • To qualify for this category documentaries must be 45 minutes and above – non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.

BEST DOCUMENTARY (Short)

  • To qualify for this category documentaries must be from 20-45 minutes  – non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.

HUMANITARIAN AWARD

  • To qualify for this category  film must be 20 minutes and above – non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.

BEST INSPIRATIONAL FAMILY DRAMA

  • To qualify for this category film must be from 20 minutes and above – non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere. All topics accepted.

WORLD ANIMATED (Feature)

  • To qualify for this category film must be from 45 minutes and above – non-fiction. If dramatization of actual events is included we will first review if the film qualifies in this category or belongs elsewhere.  All topics accepted.

WORLD ANIMATED (Shorts)
