Martin Scorsese Masterclass in Cannes

Wim

Well, I expect if you're reading this in the UK, then you're all snowed in right now. I hate this bloody weather, in Britain everything stops and grinds to a halt thanks to the friggin snow including planes, trains and automobiles (ohh there's a film title in there ;) ).

Anyway, I've been ill today with the most aching body known to man (which still hasn't shifted) but I'm not going to let it spoil my plans for this evening as I've got a few Xmas drinks to attend (in a cold pub nonetheless) but something tells me I shall be leaving early... :(

However, when you have the aches and pains symptoms that means that you can read all the latest film fest gossip in bed before you can face the day. The Berlinale film festival line up is looking great so far, not many films have been announced but the ones that have are intriguing, including Ralph Finnes' directorial debut. However, what is most intrguing is that Wim Winder's latest film will be screening there which is a dance film in 3D??????????? No idea if I have read that correctly but if I have then that is very exciting - perhaps this could be the first GREAT 3D film - although if I see blue coated characters running around singing and dancing then that's a big no no. Maybe this will be an arty, specialist audience 3D type of film. Either way, I cant wait to see it.

Right time for Friends and a glass of refreshing room temperature water for miss Diva here ;)
