I’ve been having loads of google news alerts flooding into my inbox over the past few days with regard to QT denying ‘nepotism’ charges (or in other words that he didn’t award the top prize to Sophia Coppola because they used to date). To be honest, this is all that is happening with this conspiracy; QT is denying it and no-one else involved with the jury or connected with the Venice Film Festival has commented on it. To be honest it s getting slightly boring now – it will only get interesting once QT tells the truth – if he isn’t already.

I’ve kind of been slightly distracted by all of these news reports, since I’ve been studying the word ’nepotism’ to quite an extent - for some reason the word sounds more like an amazing Belgium chocolate…. you could picture it now as being white with a bit of flake-like chocolate on top and with a raspberry centre (I can’t really eat chocolate since I’ve loads of food allergies but if there was a gluten, wheat and soya free option avaliable then I’d eat that one).  

So let’s all have our piece of chocolate and I’ll move on to the next topic - ooh wasn’t it delicious…. Toronto Film Festival has began which means that the amazing ‘After Dark’ horror festival is happening right now, more on this tomorrow :) (ooh ‘Nepotism After Dark’ – now that would make a good name for a box of chocolates).
