'RIPPLES' - October 2021 - Feature documentary 28 minutes - Film Rights available worldwide'RIPPLES' - October 2021 - Feature documentary 28 minutes - Film Rights available worldwideThis film was co-directed by French director Benoit Lelievre and Chinese director Jin Huaqing. The filming team went deep into the international city Yiwu in southeastern China and recorded the daily lives of four Xinjiang women from a delicate perspective. Under the objective and calm lens, the characters present a simple and true appearance, they could represent the truest voice from Xinjiang. The film was shot during the event that some countries boycott the cotton from China's Xinjiang. The occurrence of the incident had a huge impact on China, so that the lives of the four protagonists who were far from home also caused ripples. In the face of this incident, the four women expressed their incomprehension and even dissatisfaction to their families and foreign friends. Huaqing Jin BIOHuaqing Jin has directed films like Living with Shame, Blossom with Tears,Lament of Yumen, Endless Road and so on, for which received 40 rewards in international film festival in 18 countries, like France, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Korea, Japan and so on , including The UNICEF Prize, 2012, 27th Pärnu International Documentary and Anthropology Film Festival for Best children's Film Award, and 4th China Documentary Academy Award for Best Short Documentary Award. For example, the film Living with Shame was awarded "2008 Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival Jury Prize", and the film Blossom with Tears was awarded "The UNICEF Prize". His Documentaries broadcasted on Al Jazeera television in Qata, BBC, EBS, Fuji TV and so on. Dierctor Hauqing jin served as the the jury of 21st Asian International Film Festival in Vesoul, the final student competition in the 8th Russian Anthropological Film Festival. Huaqing jin is the signed director of Shanxi Culture Industry Investment holdings co Ltd, the creative tutor of Lanzhou University, and the visiting Instructor of Zhejiang University Of Media And Communications, in addition to, he is the adjunct lecturer of Suzhou University. In 2010, he started to hold activities, like Video Training Camp and Video Workshops, the students from different parts of China.
