Tarantino's Madsen on International Film Festival FESTThe famous American actor and poet Michael Madsen, the famous Mr. Blond in Reservoir dogs and Sainveider in Tarantino's Kill Bill 2 opens the 41st International Film Festival in Belgrade, Serbia. As a star actor of one of festival premiers this year, a film directed by Serbian filmmaker Zoran Lisinac, Along The Roadside he presented Hollywood very much presented on FEST 2013. The Festival lots only big names and celebrities, along with the red carpet, this year presents a great Madsen and full Hollywood production on the festival, along with the brand new Oscar nominated and winning new productions. The festival features 75 premieres and opens with a Golden Palm winner, Michael Haneke’s Love and closes with Serbian film premier The Forger by Goran Markovic.
The main program features films and world favorite authors such as Gus Van Sant’s Promised Land, Paul Thomas Anderson’s Master, Tom Hopper’s Ls Miserables, Brian de Palma’s Passion, Walter Salas’s On the Road, Woody Allen’s To Rome with Love, Marco Belochio’s Stolen Beauty, Sasa Gervasis’ Hitchcock etc… Also, Bernardo Bertolluci’s Me and You. BAFTA Awarded Daniel Day Lewis in Spielberg’s Lincoln, Soderbergh’s Magic Mike etc…and Robert Redford this time appears as the Director and actor in The Company you Keep.
The Eastern Europe big International Film Festival FEST is also presenting the competition program Europe out of Europe, with films from Turkey, Croatia, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Norway, Serbia, Israel, while section Europe in Europe presents the best films from Spain, Netherlands, France, Sweden and authors such as Claude Miller, Alex de la Iglesia, Susan Beer or Thomas Winterberg.
