Queer Fruits Film Festival would like to invite you to consider screening in the second festival.

The festival will screen 29th-30th December 2010, in the glamorous surrounds of the Star Court Theatre, Lismore (Northern NSW, Australia) The timing of the festival is to take advantage of the influx of GLBTIQ visitors to the Northern Rivers for the annual Tropical Fruits New Year's Eve party extravaganza.

In 2009, filmmakers from 18 countries and every state in Australia entered, leading to the presentation of an outstanding program of films, that was praised by audience and Jurors alike.

Amongst the categories for entry, there will be a range of awards presented, including for Animation, Shorts, Documentary, Music Video, Experimental, Outstanding Student film, a Local Filmmaker Incentive Award for Northern Rivers' filmmakers and a Jury Prize.

A Distinguished Festival Jury of industry judges will again independently select the winners.

The only premiere condition is that the film has not screened in the Northern Rivers' region (Australia) previously, this includes as part of the program of a touring festival during 2008 - 2010.

PRIORITY VIP ENTRY FOR 2009 SELECTED FILMMAKERS :
Filmmakers who were selected to screen in the 2009 festival are invited to submit any new film for priority consideration on a 'fee waiver' basis. A complimentary double festival pass to attend all screenings will be provided to any 2009 selected filmmakers who are selected to screen in the 2010 festival program. All you need to do, is enter your film through Without a Box and mark 'fee waiver granted', then send a preview copy.
