Early Bird Deadline May 1st- Leeds International Film FestivalThe Early Bird Deadline to submit features and shorts to Leeds International Film Festival is May 1st You can SUBMIT to the festival through Withoutabox or FilmFreeway There are £4,500 cash prizes available across our short film competitions. LIFF is also a qualifying film festival for the Academy Awards and BAFTA. The winning films in the Louis Le Prince International Short Film Competition and World Animation Award are eligible for the Academy’s Short Film Awards. The festival’s British and Yorkshire short film competitions are BAFTA qualifying. The Leeds International Film Festival (LIFF) is the largest film festival in England outside London. Founded in 1987, it is held in November at various venues throughout Leeds.
