InauguralGeek Film Festival Call For Entries

MIAMI,FLORIDA, FEBUARY 21, 2011 - Geek Film Festival continues its call forentries for its inaugural festival. Entries will be accepted via mailor digitally until May 10, 2011 at 6:00PM, Eastern time. Filmmakersare invited to send completed work to enter into the festivalprogramming.

Filmmakers– professional, amateur and student (high school and undergraduate)– working in all disciplines and genres including narrative,documentary, animation and experimental are welcome. We are seekingfilms of geek interest including film with subjects relating tocomics, gaming, anime, manga, science fiction, fantasy, RPG, andmore. Fan made films are welcome. This is a juried festival withawards and prizes (to be determined).

TheGeek Film Festival will take place at Florida Supercon at the MiamiAirport Convention Center in Miami, Florida the weekend of July 1-4,2011. Screenings will take place all four days with filmmaker Q&A’s,panels, parties and other programming - all of which filmmakers areinvited to participate in. Filmmakers whose works are chosen toparticipate in the festival will receive two weekend passes to thefestival and Florida Supercon.
