Let's Get Yeshey to New York City
Dear FilmFestivals.com readers,
Our latest Insight Film Festival initiative is to get Yeshey Namgyal (a Bhutanese award-winning filmmaker) to New York City, to receive the prestigious PLURAL+ Insight Award 2014 in person.
We have entered the last few days of raising money for an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for this to happen.
Worldwide response has been incredible … but we still need to raise over GBP £2000.
Please watch Yeshey's remarkable, life-affirming film (My Paralympic Dream, 4 minutes long).
We hope that the PR we generate through our campaign will enable many people to see Yeshey's film - online, in education and through screenings - and that momentum will build so that Pema's Paralympic dream can come true.
Please would you spread the word about our campaign around your networks. In the next 24 hours invite 5 friends or contacts to visit the site as well - or share it through Twitter and Facebook.
We have now published the transcript for the film in 15 world languages, available in this Update message. People in your network who speak one of these languages may enjoy reading the transcript in their native tongue.
